Ensuring Employee Health & Safety

We strive every day to provide safe and well-maintained work environments for our employees, contractors, and visitors. Safe production is our primary core value as we continue toward achieving a zero-injury culture at our facilities. Our Health & Safety program prioritizes:

  • Monitoring and measuring our safety performance
  • Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
  • Sharing best practices and learnings to create opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Engaging with employees at all levels of the organization, from leadership to the shop floor
  • Benchmarking within our organization and against established industry standards

Employee & Union Engagement

Our employees are one of our most important assets, and engaged employees make our company better. We are helping to build a thriving middle-class rooted in a strong manufacturing economy. More than 70% of our workforce is represented by labor unions, our business partners in accomplishing our shared goals.

We prioritize consistent, two-way communication with our employees and union partners. Our primary goal is to ensure the security of our employees through strong compensation and solid benefits that allow our people to have successful careers and provide for their families. We achieve this goal through employee empowerment and engagement, strong partnerships with our unions, and positive workplace culture.
